I've been really busy for the past few months.
I finished up my bachelors degree in marketing in May and just started a graduate program in August. I've been busy at work. I've been dealing with some health issues that have me exhausted. I've been helping my husband/tutoring him all summer in his degree program. I've had some sick puppies on my hands. And I've just felt overwhelmed.
I think part of the reason is because I havent really talked about how I feel enough, so I am going to try to start blogging again on a regular basis. Being busy is not an excuse for not expressing how you feel.
Also, I haven't been spending nearly enough time doing what really makes me happy, which is talking about my dogs and holistic animal care. Even though I haven't posted much about it, I have learned leaps and bounds over the past 8 months in holistic dog care. My goal is to really start sharing more about what I'm learning, because its exciting to see how nature can truly heal.
Anyways, between grad school and a busy, hectic life, I am going to make time for myself. Which means making time for blogging again. Realistic? I hope so.

A New Outlook
“The planet does not need more ‘successful people’. The planet desperately needs more peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers and lovers of all kinds. It needs people to live well in their places. It needs people with moral courage willing to join the struggle to make the world habitable and humane and these qualities have little to do with success as our culture is the set. “

Photo Shoot
Yesterday we tried to have a mini photo shoot with a white sheet as the background. I am a novice photographer and definitely a novice Photoshop editor, but you gotta start somewhere! A few things that will help me for next time:
- Use a sheet that isn't so wrinkly (because I'm not good at editing out wrinkles)
- Have better lighting (like a better lamp or external flash)
- Watch some Photoshop demos (BEFORE editing pictures) to save time
Even though the sheet looks awful in the background, here is one of my favorite photos of my husband, Bella, and Kimbrey:

Bits
The weather has been cold and wet. I'm stressed about the holidays and money. I've been working on a great research paper for school on the benefits of alternative pet therapies. I've been watching movies and playing games.
And I've especially been chilling, cuddling with the dogs.
Nothing new.
